You can reach this mountain village either by cable-car from Raron or by car from Visp or from Turtmann. Its central situation makes it possible to visit all big and famous resorts of the Canton of Valais within one hour (e.g. Zermatt, Verbier, Montana, Saas-Fee, Leukerbad, Bettmeralp etc.)

Winter

When you want to go skiing or to go snowbaording, you do it and when you want to relax, you do it, but you don’t get nerved in long queues at the bottom of the lifts because there are just not tourists enough to crowd the slopes.

The chair-lift starts right from the village and guarantees snow from Christmas on because of the modern snow-making methods. The T-bar lift takes you up to 2200 metres and challenges the intermediate and advanced skiers and boarders in every respect. There is even a laid track for cross-country skiers.
